Domains.lt does not provide the registrants with its DNS servers as the secondary ones in the .eu, .info, .com, .org and .net domains. It is recommended to use “Domreg” server group and manage your DNS records in the domains.lt self-service.
The registrants can indicate ns2.domreg.lt as a secondary server only in the .lt domain; however, it is not recommended. If you have your source DNS server and want to use ns2.domreg.lt for your domain as a secondary DNS server, you have to make sure:
• The firewall of the source DNS server does not block TCP 53 port for the IP address 188.8.131.52;
• The source DNS server allows the unloading of the domain zone for the IP address 184.108.40.206 (for example, allow-transfer has to be authorised in the blind server);
• The SOA serial value is increased if the content of the domain zone is changed;
• The IP address of the source DNS server is loaded in the .lt zone as a glue record or can be found according to the server name.
