The uniform resource locator (URL) address is a method to identify the address of the information source (a website or a specific file located in the server) online. It is an address of the website or file online consisting of a domain, a domain name and a protocol, for example, https://domains.lt/en/.
To redirect the visitors from one address/domain to another, a redirection has to be created. For this purpose, you have to use the domains.lt name servers, log onto the self-service, select the menu item “Data management” and click the link of the domain for which you want to create a redirection to another URL. Click the link “Manage the domain’s DNS records” in the opened window, select the record type “Redirection URI” and enter the URL to which you want to redirect the domain.
